I came to Scarsdale when I was in Grade 5. It was very difficult for me to cope up with others because of language constraints. Being enrolled in the ESL Program was the best thing that has happened to me. I learned English while in the K-8 School and my language skills were polished in the High School. I have been attending Scarsdale from a very young age. When I first came to Pakistan, I could not speak English, and more or less had a difficult time settling in the country. Going to Scarsdale changed all that. I learned the language very quickly and began to understand the culture with the help of my fellow peers and teachers.
